AN/SSQ-62E DICASS Sonobuoy
The AN/SSQ-62E is a fifth-generation, Directional Command Active Sonobuoy System (DICASS) A-size sonobuoy used for detecting and localizing submarines in preparation for attack. This is the recommended DICASS sonobuoy for maritime platforms without GPS requirements.
AN/SSQ-62F DICASS Sonobuoy
The AN/SSQ-62F is a sixth-generation, Directional Command Active Sonobuoy System (DICASS) A-size sonobuoy used for detecting and localizing submarines in preparation for attack. This is the recommended DICASS sonobuoy for international customers flying P-8A and MH-60R aircraft. The DICASS is capable of providing both range and bearing to the target for accurate position fixing.

The AN/SSQ-62F(GPS) is a sixth-generation, Directional Command Active Sonobuoy System (DICASS) A-size sonobuoy used for detecting and localizing submarines in preparation for attack. This is the recommended DICASS sonobuoy for maritime platforms with NMEA GPS requirements. The DICASS is capable of providing both range and bearing to the target for accurate position fixing.
